ATEX Awareness Course (ENG)
ATEX stands for everything related to explosion safety. Two ATEX directives have been developed in the European Union. One of these directives requires employers to take measures to enable employees to work safely in hazardous areas. One of these measures is to provide employees with the correct knowledge of explosion safety.
About the Course
The e-learning ATEX course is aimed at anyone who works in or comes into contact with an explosive environment. If, for example, you work as an operator or production worker, but also as a cleaner or technical service employee, this could be a good course.
By attending this course, you will gain an understanding of the following:
- The occurrence of explosion hazards
- Recognizing and avoiding dangerous situations and/or explosions
- Certifications
- Legislation regarding explosion hazards
- Explosion-proof equipment and protective devices
Certification and Duration.
The ATEX theory is taught via e-learning. You can pause and resume the e-learning at any time. We recommend studying the course thoroughly at least twice. After learning the theory, the participant answers a few questions in a test.
The total duration of the course is on average between 3 and 4 hours.
If the student completes the online exam with a correct score of 70% or more, they automatically pass.
